Errors
OE Backup Tiger Help Index
During the process of backing up and restoring data, errors of two types may occur:
- Nonfatal errors are errors after which the process of backing up or restoring can be continued. If an error of this type occurs:
- the program can continue its work if the "Ignore Errors (all messages will be ignored)" option is selected at step 4 or if the user selects "Ignore" or "Ignore All" when an error message is displayed. If the user selects "Ignore All", all future errors will be automatically ignored, similar to the "Ignore Errors (all messages will be ignored)" option.
- the program will stop its work if both the "Ignore Errors (all messages will be ignored)" option and the "Show Error messages" option are selected at step 4 or if the user selects "Abort" when an error message is displayed.
- Fatal errors are errors after which the program cannot continue the process of backing up or restoring.
